Pezeshkian: Iran's future belongs to its people

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the country's future would be determined by its people despite what he described as years of war and pressure.

Axar.az reports that, in a post on X, Pezeshkian said his administration's work began two years ago with what he called the assassination of a "dear guest" (Hamas Political Bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh — Ed.) by Israel.

He said the Iranian people had endured "imposed wars, pressure, and continuous hostility" over the past two years, adding that the country's "real heroes" were its people.

"The future of Iran will be determined by the Iranian people," he said.
