Turkish and Chinese FMs held telephone conversation

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the ministers discussed recent developments in the region. They exchanged views on the immediate cessation of the war and the steps being taken in this direction.

During the call, the ministers stressed that the ongoing war in the Middle East must be ended as soon as possible and reviewed efforts aimed at achieving this.

They also underscored the importance of maintaining uninterrupted transportation routes, energy supplies, and supply chains.

In addition, the sides discussed bilateral issues, with a focus on economic and trade ties, as well as mutual investments.

It should be noted that H. Fidan also held telephone conversations today with the foreign ministers of Syria, Qatar, and Uzbekistan regarding the tensions in the Middle East.
