Iran warns Middle East hotels against hosting US troops

The Iranian government has warned it may target any hotel in the Middle East that hosts U.S. troops.

Axar.az reports, citing the Fars news agency, Iranian military sources said the warning is mainly aimed at Bahrain and the UAE.

Hotel owners in these countries have reportedly received messages from Tehran urging them not to accommodate U.S. military personnel.

"A firm warning was issued by Iran this evening to hotel owners across the region, particularly in Bahrain and the UAE. Under this warning, hotels have been instructed to avoid hosting U.S. military personnel; otherwise, such facilities will be regarded as legitimate military targets by the Islamic Republic of Iran and placed on the target list," the statement said.
