Kremlin says internet curbs are temporary

Internet access in Russia will be fully restored once the need for restrictions is over, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing.

Axar.az informs that he noted that restrictions on internet services are causing inconvenience for many citizens, but said this is a temporary situation.

“Once these measures are no longer necessary, internet services will be fully restored and return to normal,” he said.

Peskov added that security concerns currently require such steps, and that most Russians understand the situation.
