Lukashenko says ties with Putin are 'more than friendship'

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has said that he maintains very close relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, describing their ties as “more than friendship.”

Axar.az informs that in an interview with the television channel RT, Lukashenko said the two leaders communicate like brothers and share a strong personal bond.

“With Putin, we are more than just friends. We communicate like brothers. He wants to see me and be friends with me. I am happy to be friends with Putin,” he said.
