Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said that reports of France and Poland potentially discussing joint nuclear-related exercises once again reflect Europe’s push toward further militarization and nuclearization of the region.
Axar.az reports that Peskov added that the details of possible discussions between France and Poland on holding joint exercises involving nuclear weapons need to be clarified.
“We need to understand the specifics: what kind of weapons are being discussed and in which countries,” Peskov said.
Earlier, Politico reported that Paris and Warsaw were discussing joint exercises as part of Poland’s possible involvement in France’s nuclear deterrence framework.
