Russia to be represented at Miami G20, Kremlin says

Russia will be represented at an appropriate level at the G20 summit to be held in Miami.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that: “Russian President Vladimir Putin may or may not attend the G20 summit in Miami."

"Alternatively, another Russian representative may take part. In any case, Russia will be represented at the summit,” Peskov added.

It should be noted that Russia has announced it received a “high-level” invitation to the event, with participation details expected to be clarified closer to the summit date.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump said he had not invited Putin, but added that his presence at the summit “would be very helpful,” while also expressing doubt that the Russian leader would attend.
