US envoy Witkoff, Kushner to head to Pakistan soon

U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner will soon travel to Pakistan for talks with Iran’s foreign minister.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, it was noted that Vice President JD Vance does not plan to attend the meeting, but would be ready to travel to Islamabad if the negotiations progress.

It should be noted that earlier reports indicated that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi would travel to Islamabad this evening for talks with U.S. representatives. Araghchi himself also stated on his X account that he is traveling to Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow.
