Pezeshkian, Lukashenko hold phone call

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has held a phone call with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

Axar.az reports, citing BelTA, Pezeshkian briefed Lukashenko on the situation in the Persian Gulf region and Tehran’s position in negotiations with the United States.

The two leaders noted that a lack of trust remains the main obstacle to reaching peaceful agreements. Lukashenko also expressed Belarus’ interest in a swift resolution of the conflict, while Pezeshkian thanked him for his principled stance.
