Iran says global standing improved after war

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that China believes Iran’s international position has improved and that the country is different after the war compared to before it.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim News Agency, that Araghchi made the remarks while commenting on regional and international developments.

“Our Chinese friends believe that Iran after the war is different from Iran before the war. Its international standing has improved, and it has proven its capabilities and strength. Therefore, a new phase of cooperation between Iran and other countries lies ahead,” he said.

He added that discussions also covered ongoing issues, including the war, its potential conclusion, Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, sanctions, the Strait of Hormuz, and current negotiations.
