The Russian Embassy in Ireland said that Russia is ready to use its entire arsenal to defend the Kaliningrad region.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Moscow has stated that it has no intention of attacking Europe and no motive to do so.

According to a statement published by the embassy on Telegram, Russia would be prepared to use its entire arsenal, including nuclear weapons, if NATO countries attempted to isolate the Kaliningrad region from the rest of Russia.

The statement also referred to reports that NATO was preparing for an air and naval blockade of Kaliningrad.

“In such a scenario, the risk of armed confrontation would be high, and there is a possibility that Russia could launch preemptive strikes against decision-making centers in alliance countries at an early stage of the conflict,” the embassy said.
