Iran reviewing US proposal via Pakistan, says spokesman

Iran is currently reviewing messages delivered through Pakistan mediation and has not yet reached a final conclusion or responded to the United States.

Axar.az reports, citing Fars News Agency, that this was stated by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei.

According to him, Iran has not yet provided any response to the U.S. side and the review process is ongoing.

It is noted that earlier, The Wall Street Journal journalist Laurence Norman wrote on X social media that a potential agreement between Tehran and Washington would take place in two stages. The first stage would involve easing the maritime blockade of Iranian ports and possibly partially relaxing sanctions, while the second stage, after 30 days, would focus on the nuclear issue.
