The city of Kupiansk remains under full control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, despite ongoing Russian attempts to infiltrate the area.

Axar.az reports, citing RBC-Ukraine, the Ukrainian military unit “Charter Brigade” stated that Ukrainian forces maintain control over the city.

According to the statement, Russian units continue trying to enter Kupiansk in small groups, often using vegetation and terrain for concealment. However, most of these infiltration attempts are detected and either eliminated or captured by Ukrainian forces.

"It is reported that there are currently no Russian military groups in Kupiansk. After the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive operation, all remaining Russian soldiers in the city were either killed or taken prisoner. The Russians continue to try to infiltrate the city in small groups, but they are quickly identified by drones and neutralized,” the statement said.
