Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday landed in Italy, where he met his Italian counterpart, Giorgia Meloni, over dinner, followed by a visit to the Colosseum.

Axar.az reports that Modi, who is on a five-nation European tour, arrived in Rome from Norway.

“We exchanged perspectives on a wide range of subjects. Looking forward to our talks today, where we will continue the conversation on how to boost the India-Italy friendship, PM Modi said in a post on X.

Meloni also shared on social media the gift she received from Modi, saying: “Prime Minister Modi brought us a gift — a very, very good toffee called ‘Melody’.”
