Araghchi warns against renewed hostility toward Iran

Iran has warned that any hostile action against the country will be met with a firm and powerful response.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran has no intention of war but is fully prepared to respond decisively to any aggression.

“We have never sought war and did not start this war, but any aggression against our country will be met with firmness and strength,” he said.

He also stated that Iran is capable of sustaining a prolonged confrontation if necessary and claimed that the country’s military position is stronger than it was before the conflict began.

“We are fully prepared to continue the fight for a very long time and possess the necessary military capabilities; our military situation today is better than before the war started,” Araghchi said.

Araghchi further emphasized that ending the conflict is not in the hands of Iran’s adversaries.
