Pezeshkian says Iran will not retreat from any threat

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said national security and the safety of the population remain the country’s top priorities.

Axar.az reports that Pezeshkian made the remarks on his X account.

"Our priority is national security and the peace of the people. We will firmly defend the rights of the nation and will not retreat in the face of any threat," he said.

He said that diplomacy and defense are “two wings of national power.”

"Diplomacy and defense are the two wings of national power; we have not left either the battlefield or the negotiating table," he noted.

In conclusion, Pezeshkian said that, with God’s help and through unity and rationality, Iran will successfully pass this test as well.
