Kazakhstan warns citizens against travel to Iran

The Kazakh Foreign Ministry issued a recommendation for citizens to avoid traveling to Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing Qazinform News Agency, that First Deputy Foreign Minister Yerzhan Ashikbayev made the statement during a Senate briefing.

He said the Ministry continuously monitors global situations, including political instability, natural disasters, and economic challenges, emphasizing that protection of the rights and interests of Kazakh citizens abroad remains a key foreign policy objective.

He stressed Iran is currently not recommended for visits by Kazakh citizens.
