Armenia to send aid to Lebanon via Turkiye

The Armenian government has approved a decision to send humanitarian aid to Lebanon via Turkish territory.

Axar.az reports that the Margara border crossing on the Armenia–Turkiye border will be opened from June 12 to 22 for the transportation of humanitarian cargo.

The government said the aid is intended for residents of Lebanon, including members of the Armenian community affected by Israeli attacks.

It should be noted that last year Turkiye opened the border crossing to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid from Armenia to Syria.
