Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence has announced the arrest of a citizen in Ilam province on allegations of cooperation with Israeli intelligence services.

Axar.az informs according to Iranian media, an individual identified only by the initials “Ali. H” was detained in Ilam.

The ministry claims the individual was in contact with a person linked to Israeli intelligence and intended to infiltrate data centers and sensitive national systems to transfer information abroad.

The statement further alleges that during the arrest, authorities seized a Starlink satellite device, explosive fuse material, dual-use electronic equipment, and other items.
