Pezeshkian: Iranian commanders back US negotiations

Iran’s military commanders support holding negotiations with the United States in Switzerland.

Axar.az reports, citing ISNA, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the country’s military leaders believe the talks should take place.

“Our military commanders believe that we should do this [hold negotiations],” Pezeshkian said.

He added that the decision was made with unity and consensus at the Supreme National Security Council:

“Everyone expressed the same position and was united.”
