Iran Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf travels to Muscat for talks

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has departed Tehran for Muscat, where he is scheduled to meet Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and discuss bilateral cooperation and regional issues.

Axar.az reports, citing Fars News, Ghalibaf will hold talks on strengthening ties between the two countries and cooperation on establishing arrangements for Iranian management of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is accompanying Ghalibaf during the visit.
