Another contact between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko is expected in the near future.

Axar.az reports, citing Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, the two leaders plan to discuss Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s threats against Belarus, as well as other issues.

Peskov did not provide details on the date or format of the upcoming contact, but said it would be a good opportunity to discuss the relevant matters.

Earlier, Zelensky said he was ready to order strikes against military equipment deployed near the Ukrainian border if it was not withdrawn within a week.
