US removes two ships, seven individuals from SDN list

The United States has removed seven individuals, two vessels, and two entities linked to Russia from its sanctions list.

Axar.az reports, citing the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), that those removed from the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List include Ivan Potanin, the son of Russian businessman Vladimir Potanin.

The delisting also covers the vessels Vyacheslav Arshinov and Gennady Egorov, as well as Turkish companies Ida Asansor Sanayii ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi and Dein Danismanlik Pazarlama ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi.

In addition to Ivan Potanin, OFAC removed German Belous, Mikhail Klyukin, Irina Kremleva, Viktor Nikolayev, Nadiya Cherkasova, and Maxim Smirnov from the sanctions list.
