Katz: Israel must not settle for gains in Iran war

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel must continue its efforts against Iran and not be satisfied with the achievements made so far in the ongoing conflict.

Axar.az reports, citing Ynet, speaking at the “Economic Warfare” conference of the National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing at the Defense Ministry, Katz accused Iran’s leadership of prioritizing support for armed groups over improving the lives of its citizens.

“Every dollar that reaches Iran is a dollar that could find its way to Hezbollah, to Hamas, to the Houthis and to other terror proxies,” Katz said.

“Therefore, we must not settle for what we’ve achieved so far,” he added.

Katz said Iran’s resources should be directed toward its own population rather than supporting regional militant groups.
