Israel to withdraw from two Lebanese villages

The Israeli military will withdraw from the villages of Zawtar al-Gharbiya and Froun in southern Lebanon as part of a pilot arrangement.

Axar.az reports, citing Al-Markazia News Agency, that the Israeli army will pull out of Zawtar al-Gharbiya, north of the Litani River, and Froun in the Bint Jbeil District.

The areas are expected to be placed under the control of the Lebanese Army, whose troops will be tasked with maintaining security and preventing any potential attacks by Hezbollah.
