Erdogan pledges support for Ukraine peace efforts

I would like to emphasize that we need to achieve results in the coming period in resolving the Russia-Ukraine war through dialogue.

Axar.az reports, citing Anadolu, that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the remarks.

"As an ally that can speak with both sides, has initiated result-oriented processes, and has earned the trust of both parties through its fair and balanced stance, we will continue to make an active contribution to peace efforts," he added.

Earlier, Erdogan welcomed Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement that Moscow was prepared to hold talks with Ukraine on the basis of the Istanbul agreements.
