Novak: Russian refineries operating at full capacity

Russian oil refineries are operating at maximum capacity to ensure sufficient fuel supplies, with the domestic market becoming saturated with petroleum products.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak made the remarks during a meeting with Kaliningrad Region Governor Alexey Besprozvannykh.

"It was noted that oil refineries are operating at maximum capacity to ensure the necessary fuel volumes, and the market is becoming saturated with petroleum products," according to the report.

The government said all major fuel suppliers are carrying out seaborne shipments of diesel and gasoline to the Kaliningrad Region.

Earlier, Novak instructed regional authorities to improve the efficiency of fuel resource distribution and continue monitoring local fuel price conditions.
