Conflict turned into real war due to support for Kyiv

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that what Russia initially called a “special military operation” has evolved into a “real war” because of the involvement of Western countries supporting Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, in an interview with Vesti, Peskov argued that Western governments are playing a direct role in the conflict.

“A war is underway; this is a real war. Do you know why it is a war? Because everything started as a special military operation. It continues as a war because Berlin, Paris, The Hague, Oslo and, unfortunately, Washington stand behind Kyiv," Peskov said.

"They help Ukraine target us through their satellites and help direct foreign weapons at our targets through their entire infrastructure. Under these conditions, we must realize that the Kyiv regime is capable of anything,” he added.
