Netanyahu denies rift with Washington

There is no rift between the United States and Israel.

Axar.az reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview with Fox News.

“I don’t think there’s a rift,” Netanyahu said.

“America called us the model ally because we are. Unlike many of your so-called allies, we actually fight alongside you. Our brave soldiers and your brave soldiers fight shoulder to shoulder,” Netanyahu said.

According to Netanyahu, the United States and Israel have the same goal regarding Iran.

“I think that the real question is, do we have differing goals when it comes to Iran? And the answer is no. We are set on the same goal. We want to see Iran give up its nuclear weapons program,” he said.
