US strikes disable Bandar Abbas airport

Bandar Abbas Airport, located in the capital of Iran's Hormozgan province, has been put out of service following U.S. airstrikes.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that the airport's runway was destroyed, administrative buildings were damaged, and fuel storage tanks exploded.

The airport had suspended operations following airstrikes after February 28 and resumed flights on July 6.
