Iran claims strikes on US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for a new wave of strikes targeting US military facilities in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.

Axar.az reports, citing Iran International, that the IRGC said its aerospace forces carried out the attacks as part of the third phase of what it called its "eye-for-an-eye" operation, launched in response to recent US military action against Iran.

According to the statement, the IRGC claimed it "completely destroyed" fuel storage tanks, Patriot air defense systems at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, and a strategic FPS radar system at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base. It also said missile and drone strikes hit US military facilities in Juffair, Bahrain, and destroyed two radar systems in Oman.

Meanwhile, Jordan's armed forces said they intercepted and shot down four missiles that entered the country's airspace from Iran on Monday.
