Lutsenko: Greater Odesa under near blockade

Everything will continue much as it is now. Nothing fundamental has changed. The most significant development is that the Russians have become more aggressive in blocking our sea routes. That is the main problem. At this point, we effectively have an almost official blockade of Greater Odesa.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Ihor Lutsenko, commander of Ukraine's drone units and founder of the Air Reconnaissance Support Center, made these remarks while commenting on Ukraine's recent successful strikes against targets inside Russia.

"I also expect Ukraine to take more active measures against Russian maritime traffic. We have little left to lose in this area. Russia has already blocked everything it possibly can, violating every rule imaginable. They attack any vessel traveling to or from Ukraine, regardless of its flag. I believe this situation will continue to evolve," he said.

It should be noted that following Ukraine's large-scale drone strikes on Russian territory, Russia has increased its attacks on ships calling at Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea.
