Zelensky in Poland as Kyiv-Warsaw seek reset

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Poland on Tuesday, marking his first trip to the country since relations were strained by a dispute over historical memory.

Axar.az reports, citing Kyiv Independent, that Zelensky said he met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, with the two leaders discussing the security of Ukrainians living in Poland, historical issues between the two countries, and the results of his recent visit to the United States.

The visit comes as Kyiv and Warsaw seek to improve ties following recent tensions over historical issues, which have complicated relations despite Poland's strong support for Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.
