An explosion occurred in Moscow's Kudrinskaya Square.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that according to police, three people were killed and 15 others were injured.

The explosion took place at the Balzi Rossi restaurant, located on the ground floor of one of Moscow's Stalin-era skyscrapers.

An improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated at a restaurant in Kudrinskaya Square.

According to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee's Information Center, three people were killed and 21 others were injured in the blast.

"One of the victims was a security guard who tried to stop an unidentified woman suspected of attempting to bring the explosive device into the restaurant. The other two victims were the woman herself and a customer," the statement said.

Operational search measures and investigative actions are currently underway.
