Russia says it struck two cargo ships in Black Sea

Russian forces struck two dry cargo ships in the Black Sea on the evening of August 5 that were transporting military cargo.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that according to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian Armed Forces "continued carrying out strikes against maritime vessels operating in the interests of the Ukrainian Armed Forces."

"Yesterday evening, strike drones hit two dry cargo vessels in the Black Sea south and east of Odesa that were transporting military cargo," the ministry said in a statement.
