Lightning kills at least 20 in India's Jharkhand

At least 20 people have been killed in lightning strikes in India's Jharkhand state.

Axar.az reports, citing Indian media, that the highest number of fatalities over the past 24 hours was recorded in the Giridih district, where 11 people were killed by lightning.

Severe weather also caused significant damage in other districts across the state.
