Russia carried out one of its largest recent attacks on Ukrnafta's oil and gas production facilities overnight, damaging seven production assets in eastern Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that the attack destroyed critical equipment, forcing the shutdown of several facilities and causing significant production losses. No casualties were reported.

"Russia is systematically attacking Ukraine's oil and gas production in order to inflict maximum damage on our infrastructure ahead of winter. Last night saw the largest-scale attack on Ukrnafta facilities in recent times. Fortunately, there were no casualties," said Serhii Fedorenko, acting chairman of the Naftogaz Management Board.

Naftogaz also said four Ukrnafta filling stations in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions were attacked over the past day. No employees or customers were injured.
