Araghchi: Iran currently has no negotiations with US

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran currently has no negotiations with Washington.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that according to Araghchi, messages are being exchanged through intermediaries.

“We currently have no negotiations with the United States. Yes, messages are being exchanged through intermediaries. This is not negotiations; it is an exchange of messages,” Araghchi said.

He added that intermediaries were still working to create the conditions for renewed talks.

“Until the issue of the violation of the Memorandum of Understanding is resolved and the United States compensates for what it violated in this memorandum, there is no possibility of restarting negotiations,” Araghchi said.
