Russia relies on North Korean reinforcements

Russia is increasingly dependent on North Korean military support and is preparing to deploy an additional North Korean contingent on Russian territory.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement on his X account.

“For the first time in its history, Russia cannot wage war without reinforcements from North Korea,” Zelensky said.

He said Russia had also received additional ballistic missiles from North Korea, warning that cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang is contributing to the improvement of North Korean weapons.

“The more North Korean strikes there are here in Ukraine, in Europe, the more their missiles and soldiers are used, the more they correct their shortcomings and blind spots, the greater the danger will later be for Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, and other countries in the region,” Zelenskyy said.

He called for greater international coordination and support for Ukraine’s air defenses, arguing that helping Ukraine would also reduce North Korea’s ability to gain battlefield experience through its cooperation with Russia.

“Everyone across the globe who respects human life must stand together in taking action to protect people,” Zelensky said.
