Five killed, 91 injured in Russian strike on Ukraine

At least five people were killed and 91 injured in a Russian double drone strike on a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that the attack targeted the city’s largest shopping center and caused a fire.

Six children were among those injured, while 21 people, including one child, were reported to be in serious condition.

Kryvyi Rih Defense Council head Oleksandr Vilkul said the shopping center was struck twice.

Earlier reports put the number of casualties at two dead and 52 injured, including six children, before the death toll and number of injured increased.

Emergency and rescue operations were ongoing.
