Six members of Iran’s Navy were killed in US strikes on targets in southern Iran on September 1.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim news agency, that the six personnel were officers and other members of the Iranian Navy.

Earlier, three pilots from Iran’s air and naval forces were also reported to have been killed in the strikes.

It should be recalled that on September 1, US Central Command announced that a series of strikes had been carried out against targets in Iran. Iran subsequently launched missile and drone attacks against US military bases in several countries in the region, including Jordan, northern Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait and the UAE.
