NABU conducts searches at Zelensky’s office

Ukrainian lawmaker Oleksii Honcharenko said that Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) is conducting investigative actions at the Office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that the reasons for the searches and who exactly they concern have not yet been disclosed.

At the same time, NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) announced a special operation targeting a criminal organization allegedly headed by an official from the Prosecutor General’s Office.

The suspects are accused of providing protection to a network of fraudulent call centers and laundering assets. Ukrainska Pravda reports that investigative actions are underway at the Prosecutor General’s Office and that Serhii Kropyva, deputy head of one of its departments, has been detained.
