Yemen says it will not allow Iran to control Bab al-Mandab

Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad al-Alimi said that Yemen will not allow Iran and its proxies to take control of the strategic Bab al-Mandab strait.

Axar.az reports, citing Iran International, that Al-Alimi also accused the Houthis of endangering civilians in pursuit of their military objectives.

“The Houthis have no qualms about sacrificing civilians to advance their reckless adventures,” he said.
