Death toll from Northern Cyprus ferry sinking rises to 13

Northern Cyprus Prime Minister Unal Ustel announced that the death toll from the passenger vessel that sank off the coast of Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus has risen to 13.

Axar.az reports that the Prime Minister added that 15 people were still missing.

It should be noted that on August 30, a ferry carrying 267 people sank off the coast of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, leaving eight people dead and 20 missing. Search and rescue operations were underway.
