Giorgia Meloni thanks Erdogan for congratulations

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has thanked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that Erdogan congratulated Meloni on her right-wing coalition government becoming the longest-serving government in Italy in the past 80 years.

Meloni thanked Erdogan in a post on X.

In her message, the Italian prime minister also emphasized that Turkiye and Italy are connected by deep historical ties and shared interests.
