Israeli forces fire six shells near Al-Rafid in Quneitra

Israeli forces shelled the outskirts of the town of Al-Rafid in southern Syria’s Quneitra countryside on Saturday.

Axar.az reports, citing Anadolu Agency, that six shells were fired at the area, without immediately reporting casualties or damage.

An Israeli force comprising five military vehicles advanced earlier to the outskirts of Al-Rafid before withdrawing, with no arrests reported.

The latest incident follows repeated Israeli activity in the area. Israeli forces fired two artillery shells on Thursday near Tal al-Ahmar in southern Quneitra.
