US renews efforts to broker Ukraine ceasefire

The United States has renewed its efforts to help resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing The American Conservative, that the move follows a visit to Moscow by U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

"The visit—which follows an unusual trip to Moscow by CIA director John Ratcliffe last week—suggests the Trump administration is renewing its efforts to broker a ceasefire in Ukraine, following months of relative diplomatic stasis," the publication wrote.
