Bali’s international airport in Indonesia has canceled more than a dozen flights due to the eruption of Anak Krakatau volcano.
Axar.az reports, citing foreign media, that the airport administration provided the information.
According to the report, several flights have been canceled or had their schedules changed due to increased volcanic activity. Five flights from Jakarta to Bali were canceled. The changes affected flights operated by TransNusa and Indonesia AirAsia.
It should be noted that Anak Krakatau began erupting on the evening of September 4. The volcano sent lava and ash into the air, with an ash and smoke plume rising to more than 15,000 meters.
