Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Azerbaijan next month.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks to Viktor Makhmudov, Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan, while receiving senior security officials from the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

“Please convey my warmest wishes to Shavkat Miromonovich. We also look forward to welcoming him to Azerbaijan next month for an international event,” the head of state said.

It should be noted that the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) will be held on October 15.
