Netanyahu threatens citizenship revocation over criticism

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to revoke the citizenship of people who “defame” Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers abroad.

“We will protect our brave soldiers. We will revoke the citizenship of anyone who defames IDF soldiers around the world — and hit them hard financially,” Netanyahu said.
